The last few months have been a total whirlwind filled with surprises, blessings but also new challenges. Not too long ago, we moved house again (!) and settled into a lovely new built property not too far from where we used to live. Things happened quite fast but if you know me well, you’ll know I’m always up for this type of challenge. We prayed for things to go smoothly, and I’m grateful they did. Not just the transition into the new house, but also the decorating process. Continue reading

Dinner at Kinkao ~ Review
A few weeks ago we celebrated my mother’s birthday at the Thai restaurant Kinkao, situated on the Isle of Dogs. The restaurant used to be called Elephant Royale and my family and I had visited on numerous occasions. They recently went through a rebrand and the restaurant is now under new management. The menu is completely different to what it used to be, but we weren’t disappointed with the options. Continue reading

Hyde Park Stables ~ Horse riding in central London
If you are an equestrian in London, riding in Hyde Park is probablyone of those things on top of your bucket list, no matter how experienced you are as a rider – it just has to be done. Right? The good thing about Hyde Park stables is you don’t actually have to be an experienced rider to enjoy a hack in London’s most beautiful park. The stables are open to everyone and the horses here are very well trained.
4 really lovely patisseries in London
If you fancy a bit of French/continental-style patisserie in London, there area few places I would recommend. The first one is Patisserie Valerie. Established in 1926 you can tell this place has retained its old-fashion style, and used it to its advantage. The cakes and pastries here are delicious but a little bit sweeter in taste than your average French patisserie so do bear this in mind.
